After a five-year break, Cebuana Lhuillier has relaunched its highly anticipated “Happiest Pinoy” campaign, rekindling the search for Filipinos who embody joy, resilience, and optimism. This exciting comeback brings a renewed sense of hope and inspiration at a time when Filipinos are in need of positivity and uplifting stories more than ever.
Jean Henri Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier’s President and CEO, shared his enthusiasm for the revival of this beloved campaign, highlighting the enduring strength of the Filipino spirit. “The past few years have been tough for everyone, but the resilience and joy of Filipinos have never wavered. The ‘Happiest Pinoy’ campaign is a tribute to those who spread hope and happiness, even in the face of adversity,” Lhuillier stated. He emphasized that the competition aims to shine a spotlight on individuals whose personal stories of optimism and perseverance inspire others.
This year’s contest celebrates Filipinos from all walks of life, recognizing those who rise above life’s challenges to spread positivity. Open to Filipino citizens aged 13 and above (excluding OFWs), the competition features multiple categories to honor various segments of society. Categories include Masayahing Gen Z (Youth), Happy at 60 (Senior Citizens), No Way Kapansanan (PWD), Inspiradong Champion (Manggagawa), Bagong Bayani, Hatid Sigla (OFW), Bibo sa Negosyo (Entrepreneur), Proud as Pride (LGBTQIA+), and Creative Pinoy (Creative Arts). This year also introduces special awards: Katutubo (TRIBO) and Happiest Ka Cebuana.
The grand winner will receive a cash prize of PHP 500,000, while each category winner will receive PHP 35,000. Special award recipients will be granted PHP 25,000 each.
To participate, applicants can submit their stories of resilience and joy through several methods:
• Video Submission: Download the entry form from the Happiest Pinoy social media pages, complete it, and send it with a video to happiestpinoy2024@gmail.com.
• Google Form: Fill out the official entry form via the Happiest Pinoy’s social media pages, sharing your personal story of optimism.
• Cebuana Lhuillier Branches: Visit any Cebuana Lhuillier branch to obtain and submit a physical entry form.
