Regal Entertainment has released the first look at its newest romantic film, Almost Us, through its official social media accounts. The preview features former Pinoy Big Brother housemates JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, collectively known to fans as JMFYang.
“Almost Us” marks the first full-length feature film headlined by the pair. They were previously seen in the Metro Manila Film Festival horror top-grosser Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins, as well as in the hit iWant Originals series Ghosting Parts 1 and 2, where their on-screen chemistry first gained a strong following.
Director Dan Villegas personally chose JM and Fyang to lead the project. The screenplay was written by veteran rom-com writer Miguel Sevilla. The film is a co-production between Regal Entertainment and Project 8 Projects, the production company founded by Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas.
“Almost Us” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6. Fans are eagerly anticipating the big-screen debut of JMFYang as lead stars in this much-awaited romantic-comedy film.
