“Yun na ang simula,” Master Jun recalls. “Sunod-sunod na dumating ang mga celebrities — at dumami pa. Hanggang ngayon, sobrang grateful ako.”
Since then, he has become the go-to stylist of an impressive roster of stars: Daniel Padilla, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, McCoy de Leon, Ronnie Alonte, Seth Fedelin, Amy Perez, Nikko Natividad, Zeus Collins, Jameson Blake, Jon Lucas, and many more.
When asked what makes his styling stand out, Master Jun shares,
“Once nakita ko ‘yung tao, alam ko na agad kung ano ang babagay sa kanya. I suggest the look, and madalas nagugustuhan nila. Fulfilling para sa akin ‘pag nakikita kong masaya silang lumalabas ng salon.”
He laughs as he recalls one of his proudest moments — the now-trending hairstyle of Daniel Padilla.
“Madalas sinasabi na lang nila, ‘Bahala ka na, Master Jun!’ — kasi tiwala na sila.”
Yet, despite styling countless famous faces, Master Jun still dreams of cutting the hair of Enrique Gil locally, and even Brad Pitt internationally.
A Star-Studded 8th Anniversary Celebration
The 8th anniversary of Parcero Salon was nothing short of spectacular — a celebration of artistry, friendship, and success. Held at Destello Cantina Restaurant in Greenhills, San Juan, the event also doubled as Master Jun’s birthday bash. Guests were treated to delicious food, overflowing drinks, and a night of laughter and dancing.
Among the attendees were his loyal celebrity clients and friends, including It’s Showtime’s Hashtags members Jameson Blake, Jon Lucas, Zeus Collins, and Nikko Natividad, along with influencers, media personalities, and close friends.
“Grabe ang pasasalamat namin kay Master Jun,” shared the Hashtags boys during the event.
“Noong time na wala pa kami, dinidiscount niya ‘yung gupit namin para lang magmukha kaming maayos sa camera. Kaya ngayon, it’s payback time. We’re here to give full support sa taong tumulong sa amin.”
Actor Nikko Natividad added humor to his heartfelt message:
“Mas importante pa ‘to sa relasyon namin ng asawa ko! Kasi ‘yung hair, lalo na sa amin mga lalaki, malaking bagay. Kahit walang makeup, basta maganda ‘yung gupit, confident ka na. ‘Yun ang crowning glory namin — at si Master Jun ang bahala diyan.”
Meanwhile, Zeus Collins praised Master Jun’s unmatched touch:
“Parang may magic ‘yung kamay niya. Pag inayusan ka niya, iba talaga — hindi mo magagaya pag nasa bahay ka na. Kaya binabalik-balikan namin.”
