Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III graces UDDS 1st Regional Conference

UNITED DEFENDERS FOR DEMOCRACY AND SOVEREIGNTY (UDDS), a non-political and a non-governmental organization (NGO) held its first Regional conference and induction of officers yesterday October 19 at the Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon City having the theme "UDDS advocates CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM for better PHILIPPINES".

Department of Labor and Employment and Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Secretary Hon. Silvestre "Bebot" Bello III graces the event together with Hon Mayor Marynette Gamboa of Dingras, Ilocos Norte and husband Efren Reyes. 

Highlight of the event is the Induction of Officers from different Regions. The event was sealed with a heartfelt number when all the members lit their candles and unitedly sings "Bayan Ko".

Get to Know UDDS 

UNITED DEFENDERS FOR DEMOCRACY AND SOVEREIGNTY (UDDS)  categorized as a nonprofit, non government ORGANIZATlON. The Colors of the Organization shall be Gold Blue and Red. These shall be used in banners, insignias, and other printed materials of the Organizations. 

The Symbol 

The basic symbols shall be: 

• Rising Sun - hope for a better life for the people
• Eight Rays - represent the eight provinces that revolted against spain symbolizing patriotism/ nationalism and love of country. 
• Red, White and Blue - the color of the flag. The Red color is for Bravery, the Blue color is for Peace, the White color is for Purity. White color in the middle signifies straight and clean path to a progressive future Three Stars -Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao 
• Gold Shield Senna shield for strong governance.

MISSION

To Rebuild the Nation through democratic processes, meritocracy, professionalism, integrity and competence in governance; promote national unity, peace, and genuine reconciliation; and establish a compassionate government to uplift the poor and underprivileged.” 

PURPOSE

Purpose of this Organization is to provide all forms of help and support to all programs, projects, endeavors and pursuits being undertaken by both the public and private sectors to ensure that faithful W is firmly institutionalized in our participatory democratic system while contributing to the maid. economic, cultural. and political reforms of our country where necessary, expedient. and appropriate.
