Don Macchiatos, the country’s first ₱39 coffee chain, is bringing more of Asia’s flavors to its lineup of affordable and delicious coffee-based drinks with the introduction of four new flavors.
The coffee chain officially launched the new offerings on October 20, 2026, at its flagship branch on P. del Rosario Street, right beside Sto. Rosario Church in Cebu City.
Inspired by Vietnam’s bold coffee culture, the new additions—Salt Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Iced Black Coffee, and Iced Milk Coffee—are prepared using the traditional phin filter, which produces a rich, textured brew commonly paired with sweetened condensed milk and served over ice.
The new lineup features authentically sourced Trung Nguyen Robusta beans, known for their strong, dark-roasted, and distinctly chocolatey profile—a hallmark of Vietnamese coffee. Vinamilk, a popular Vietnamese condensed milk brand, is also among the key ingredients in the new flavors.
This partnership underscores Don Macchiatos’ authentic homage to Vietnamese coffee, bringing the taste of the Land of the Blue Dragon to Filipino consumers. Brewed using traditional phin filters and Robusta beans, the new lineup captures the bold, distinctive spirit of Vietnam across four expertly crafted beverages.
Cà Phê Cốt Dừa (Coconut Coffee)
Known for its abundant coconut harvests, Southern Vietnam is home to one of the country’s most sought-after coffee specialties: coconut coffee.
Don Macchiatos’ take on this beloved creation features a sweet and creamy topping over bold coffee, finished with desiccated coconut bits for an added crunch. The beverage is priced at ₱59.
Cà Phê Muối (Salt Coffee)
A distinctive Vietnamese brew that combines strong coffee with a lightly salted creamy topping, Don Macchiatos’ Salt Coffee features subtle saltiness that enhances the coffee’s rich, roasted notes while balancing its sweetness for a smooth, bold finish.
The beverage is priced at ₱59.
Cà Phê Sữa Đá (Iced Milk Coffee)
Classic is never something to get tired of. This timeless Vietnamese favorite features strong brewed coffee blended with rich, sweetened condensed milk.
With its bold coffee aroma, smooth and creamy body, and mellow sweetness, the beverage offers a balanced take on a Vietnamese coffee staple. It is priced at ₱59.
Cà Phê Đen Đá (Iced Black Coffee)
For those who prefer their coffee without milk, Don Macchiatos’ Iced Black Coffee delivers a pure, bold Vietnamese coffee experience, crafted with strong phin-brewed coffee poured over ice.
Intensely aromatic, it features deep, dark-roasted bitterness with subtle chocolate or caramel undertones. Served black, or with a touch of sugar, it offers an invigorating and uncompromising coffee experience.
Alongside the launch of its new products, Don Macchiatos is also giving its flagship store on P. del Rosario Street a fresh look. Designed by Yaoto Architects + Partners, the newly renovated shop captures the relaxed, streetside atmosphere of Vietnamese coffee shops, allowing patrons to sit at the storefront, face the bustling streets, and enjoy their favorite coffee creations.
