A new face is about to set hearts racing on television screens — and this time, he’s coming straight from the racetrack.
Promising Filipino kart racer Arion Crosby is officially entering the entertainment industry, marking the beginning of what could be one of the most exciting teen showbiz launches this year. With his striking looks, undeniable charisma, and impressive achievements at a young age, many are already predicting that Arion could become the next big teen heartthrob to captivate Filipino audiences.
During a recent press conference in Quezon City, Crosby confirmed that he is now ready to explore a new lane — this time in front of the camera.
“Since it is off season and it will be a while before my next competition, I will focus on showbiz,” Crosby shared. “I will give the same drive, passion, and discipline. I do believe I will be able to manage my time.”
Known in the racing world for his determination and winning mindset, Arion is now bringing the same energy into entertainment. Before entering showbiz, the young racer already made waves internationally after being named the 2023 International Junior Karter of the Year, a recognition that cemented his reputation as one of the country’s brightest young motorsport talents.
“Being named the 2023 International Junior Karter of the Year is truly humbling. I am incredibly thankful for the unwavering support of my family, my team, sponsors, and fans who have been with me every step of the way,” he said.
Apart from the prestigious recognition, Crosby also secured back-to-back first-place finishes at the Rotax Max Challenge Philippine Series held at Carmona Racing Circuit in Cavite under the Resultado Racing Team banner.
But beyond the helmet and racing suit is a young man now ready to conquer a completely different world. Towering with natural charm and camera-ready looks, Arion is beginning his showbiz journey through modeling projects, commercials, and product endorsements while continuously honing his acting skills through workshops and Tagalog lessons.
“I did a few workshops when I was younger. I have done a photo shoot internationally — I want to start with small pictorials first and then eventually acting,” he shared.
And it doesn’t stop there.
The aspiring star also revealed that he is open to venturing into music.
“I can sing. I lean towards a softer side, like R&B,” he said, instantly giving fans another reason to swoon.
According to his manager Neil De Guia, the long-term vision for Arion is to slowly build him into a full-fledged artist capable of thriving in multiple fields in entertainment.
“He will start with modeling, commercials, and endorsements. We are also open to negotiations with major networks to build Arion as an artist,” his manager shared.
His camp also confirmed that the young racer is open to eventually having a love team and even joining reality shows such as the iconic Pinoy Big Brother. We can’t deny that he’s a good-looking guy. Girls will definitely love him!
Interestingly, the manager also compared Arion’s early journey to that of actor Jake Cuenca.
“I remember Jake Cuenca when I first managed him. They were around the same age. Jake also didn’t know much Tagalog before, but he was determined to learn. Arion has that same drive and willingness to improve,” he said.
Now attending acting and Tagalog workshops, Crosby is proving that he’s serious about making a name for himself in entertainment.
With his athlete’s discipline, leading-man visuals, soft-boy charm, and genuine determination to learn, Arion Crosby is shaping up to be one of the freshest new faces to watch in showbiz today.
