The Filipino spirit is going global once again as Sparkle GMA Artist Center launches its highly anticipated Sparkle World Tour 2025, bringing together a powerhouse lineup of performers—Ruru Madrid, Aiai Delas Alas, Jessica Villarubin, Boobay, and Pepita Curtis—for an unforgettable celebration of music, comedy, and Filipino pride.
This August, the spotlight turns to Canada, where the tour is set to electrify audiences in Toronto and Calgary, uniting thousands of kababayans in a vibrant celebration of talent and culture.
The tour kicks off on August 16–17 in Toronto, in partnership with the renowned Taste of Manila, North America’s largest Filipino street festival. The celebration continues in Calgary from August 29 to September 1, where the stars will light up Eau Claire Park as part of Fiesta Filipino, the biggest Filipino cultural gathering in Alberta.
More than just a performance, Sparkle World Tour 2025 is a heartfelt tribute to Filipinos abroad—an opportunity to relive the warmth of home through entertainment that uplifts and connects.
Aiai Delas Alas, the undisputed Comedy Queen, spoke from the heart about the special bond she shares with Pinoys overseas:
“Iba kasi ’pag personal mong nakakasama at nakakasalamuha, nakakamayan, nayayakap. Iba ’yung dating.”
For Ruru Madrid, the experience of being embraced by fellow Filipinos abroad is deeply humbling.
“Nakaka-humble, at mafi-feel mo talaga na grateful ka because kahit sa ibang bansa nakikilala ka. Masaya sila na makasama ka,” he said.
Powerhouse singer Jessica Villarubin offered a message of pure joy for the fans awaiting them across Canada.
“We will make sure na pasasayahin namin kayo at mag-enjoy kayong lahat.”
