On April 4, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the country’s leading talent management agency, officially signed a partnership with RepublicAsia Media Incorporated and iACADEMY to enhance the knowledge of its artists and content creators in navigating the digital space.
During the signing ceremony, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes shared,
“We wanted our artists and our Status influencers to be able to learn the best practices in social media marketing, social media control, and how they can monetize their digital assets more effectively.”
This partnership is part of Sparkle’s ongoing commitment to developing well-rounded talents—artists and creators who are not only skilled but also responsible and thoughtful in using their platforms.

To kick off the newly signed collaboration, the Republic of Influence workshop—focused on artificial intelligence in content creation—was held for Sparkle artists and Status influencers. The session covered the ethical use of AI and its broader implications on society.
Miss Fleire Castro, CEO and founder of ContentDash PTE LTD., an AI-powered content subscription platform for enterprise marketing teams, led the discussion and shared expert insights.

“I would suggest content creators use AI as an assistive tool. That means, in the content creation process, start and finish it yourself, but identify where AI can make things faster or better. To maintain authenticity, your human touch still matters,” Fleire emphasized.

But the collaboration doesn’t stop at training and upskilling—it also extends to social impact.

On April 25, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) officially joined the Pay It Forward initiative—a joint effort by RepublicAsia, iACADEMY, and Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

Pay It Forward aims to provide tablets and Starlink satellite internet services to selected schools in Marawi, helping bridge the digital divide and support education in underserved communities.

Representing GMA Network at the event were Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President, and Joy Marcelo, First Vice President of Sparkle.

“Truly, to use modern technology to further education is something that everyone should aspire for. I’d like to thank you for considering the four Marawi schools that GMA Kapuso Foundation built as recipients of your endeavors,” Atty. Annette said.

Sparkle artist Sofia Pablo was also introduced as the official ambassador of the Pay It Forward project. On Instagram, she posted:

“So honored to be chosen as @republicasia’s Ambassador of Pay It Forward. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this powerful movement—bringing opportunities to students in Marawi and helping expand digital education to remote areas in the Philippines. As a student myself, I truly believe that everyone deserves access to quality education.”
