The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) has expressed deep gratitude to celebrated singer-songwriter and accomplished businessman Jose Mari L. Chan for his steadfast support of the organization’s wide-ranging charitable initiatives.
Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, FFCCCII President, praised Chan’s invaluable contributions during a recent event. He emphasized the federation’s significant presence, which spans 170 Filipino Chinese chambers and various industry groups across the country, from Aparri to Tawi-Tawi. FFCCCII is recognized for its efforts in economic advocacy, disaster response, free medical missions, support for rural public schools, and the operation of volunteer fire brigades that assist fire and disaster victims regardless of their background or social standing.
In light of the devastation caused by six major typhoons, the FFCCCII, through the Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation, swiftly delivered emergency food relief to the most affected areas, including the Bicol region, flood-hit communities in Metro Manila, and other provinces.
Both Jose Mari Chan and Dr. Cecilio Pedro reaffirmed the enduring dedication of the Filipino Chinese business community to supporting disaster-stricken families and uplifting marginalized communities throughout the Philippines.
