Bountiful Blooms, the first-ever Philippine international Flower Festival (PHILIFF), will soon be a buzz as a one-stop-shop-to-go event on September 19-22

On Wednesday, July 17, PHILIFF will hold its press launch at the SPACE at One Ayala, Level 5, One Ayala, 1 Ayala Avenue, Makati City, 3 pm.
Two months from now, the event aims to boost Philippine economic growth. It will spotlight floral designing, garden landscaping, a trade show, exhibits on Ikebana, Bonsai, and Orchids, and a floral fashion show--curated by Mr. Jerry Sibal with invited international artists. The festival presents a unique opportunity for Filipino horticulturists and florists to network, sustain, and expand their territories and economy.
PHILIFF aims to (1) build a new global flower export industry for economic growth; (2) attract focal and foreign investors in Philippine agriculture; (3) create sustainable livelihood for farmers and growers; (4) explore the latest developments in floriculture and horticulture technology; (5) introduce new and emerging tourism destinations; (6) introduce business opportunities for community development; (7) develop more interests on other facets of agriculture among the local communities; and (8) educate the farmers and growers on new skills.

The visionary producer of the upcoming event, Jerry Sibal, is a Filipino, Chinese, and American based in New York City. He authored a coffee table book, An Event to Remember, published by Stewart Tabori & Chang, an imprint of Abrams Books.
“I want to bring dignity to our farmers. Let us be united in helping the farmers grow our economy as well."

Sibal, known for creating magical settings, spectacular and lavish weddings, corporate events, and charity balls, has envisioned this momentous event as a gateway to cultivating, celebrating, and promoting the Philippines as a major producer of flowers in the region, next to Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
