"Fan Girl" bagged major awards in the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 awards night.
"Fan Girl" was recognized with the Best Festival Picture award while the artists playing the lead roles Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino won the Best Actress and Best Actor awards respectively.
Charlie may consider this a milestone to her career as she bested Veteran Actresses Nora Aunor and Sylvia Sanchez in the Best Actress category.
This Antoinette Jadaone movie tells the story of an obsessed teenage girl who spent an unforgettable night with her idol. Direk Tonet also won the Festival Best Director award.
The movie also won other awards - best screenplay, best editing, best cinematography, best sound and 3rd best float award.
