Manila - PBA Basketball player Terrence Romeo met with Actor Robin Padilla to hand over his donation for the rehabilitation of the war-torn city of Marawi.
Robin personally thank Terrence for the donation. Robin has been actively involved in helping the people of Marawi on their rehabilitation program. The actor initially donated P5 million to the government for the children affected by the crisis. This was followed by selling his vehicles to help fund a deep well project in the city.
“Itong Marawi rehabilitation project namin, mga artista ang madalas nagdodonate. This is the first time a basketball player supported our cause and I would like to thank Terrence for this,” shared Padilla. The actor invited Terrence to Marawi to personally witness the development in their project.
“Anytime I would make myself available. Ever since highschool idol ko na si Sir Robin. Wala akong pelikula niya na pinalagpas. I am just grateful to support him on this project at karangalan kong makatulong sa mga tao sa Marawi,” Romeo replied. “I hope the other Basketball Players will also help rebuild Marawi.”
Terrence plays both the point guard and shooting guard positions for TNT Ka Tropa in the PBA. He played for FEU before being selected in the 2013 PBA draft. He won the 2011 UAAP Rookie of the Year and during his senior years, he bagged the 2014 UAAP Men’s Basketball Most Valuable Player.
