This mothers day why not treat mom to a
movie night? Or the whole family? Settle in with Regal Films new comedy flick
“My 2 Mommies” Starring Paolo Ballesteros and Solenn Heusaff.
It’s a laugh out loud feel good film that explores
the extreme lengths parents will go to be with their kids.
This year, My 2 Mommies, captures the
drama of an accidental affair that
leads to an extraordinary story of not-your-typical family set up, Paolo and
Solenn play mother to the same kid with the comedic elements of Paolo hiding
his dark secret to his child.
The
dialogue in the film is able to make the most dramatic of moments humorous and
the most humorous of moments dramatic, keeping the viewer engaged
throughout. Paolo’s comedic timing is just perfect. I keep on laughing the
entire film. .Gusto ko yun mga banat niya.No dull moment. Laughtrip mga punchlines niya. Paolo is perfect for the role. The film has a great supporting
cast as well, Solenn Heusaff was a revelation to me. She acted well on this
movie, hindi siya sobra, hindi rin siya kulang. Hindi siya OA sa mga scenes trying
to be a comedy or dramatic Actress. She gave justice to the role. I can feel her
pain as a Mother on her quiet scenes when her child was slowly taken away from
her. I was impressed by Solenn’s performance. Marcus Cabais is the next big
child superstar to watch out. He has the charm and the talent. He just need to
improve more on his dramatic scenes but overall I enjoyed his performance. I
love Joem Bascon on this movie, I like how he attacked the role of a supportive
gay lover. Nakakakilig yun tandem nila ni Paolo. I like the calmness of his
role, he has that charm na even he is gay on this movie, gugustuhin mong
magkaroon ng Ronnie sa buhay mo. Paolo’s gay friends got my attention as well very
natural ang acting parang hindi nga umaarte at ang ganda ng batuhan ng mga
punchlines, sobrang nakakatawa sila. Lastly, Ms Maricel Soriano, proven how
major or small her role, tatatak ang isang Diamond Star, she definitely shine
on this movie, her acting prowess never fades and they have a good chemistry ni
Paolo. Congrats to Direk Eric Quizon, husay! hindi nasayang ang effort and pagod nyo in
making this film. One of the main things that I love about this movie is that
none of the characters feel like they're just there. That all feel like they
have a purpose in this movie.
The story
is heavy, very realistic, and full of emotions, but one thing is for sure, lalabas ka ng sinehan na
nakangiti. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommies out there J
