At first I thought it's just an ordinary romantic comedy film. It turned out to provide me with the kind of release I needed for my sentimental side. Nakakaiyak siya, promise! Bring a lot of tissue! You know one of those days where you need to feel like you need a good cry but you realize you can't cry because you've trained yourself not to cry for a long time that you think you lost that capability? when that happens, watch this movie and you'll thank me, or Bela, or whoever made this movie. The material and execution are good enough that it works perfectly for the kind of movie it is. It serves its purpose well and that purpose is to appreciate life, love life. You only live once, do what makes you happy, grab every opportunity to live your life at its fullest.
Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga make a perfect couple and the story was poignant and perfect.
Bela Padilla writes with such clarity and sensitivity. She was able to find those things that the movie's target audience can relate. This movie should not be overlooked. Bela should write another story because she has a good taste.
Indeed, "Last Night" is a great romantic tearjerker that everyone should watched.
