Black Sheep, the newest brand under the ABS-CBN Films family is launching its first film in the romantic comedy Exes Baggage starring real-life exes Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban.

Fresh from his back-to-back wins with Changing Partners and All of You, director Dan Villegas teamed up with writer Dwein Baltazar (Gusto Kita with All My Hypothalamus) to bring this story about exes and expectations to the big screen. After months of teasing fans on social media with their HOHOL moments (hang out, hang out lang), Carlo and Angelica or CarGel to those who ship them are finally making it official on the big screen this September.

Exes Baggage starts after a memorable chance encounter in which Pia (Angelica Panganiban) and Nix (Carlo Aquino) instantly hit it off. Engaging conversations eventually develop into deep attraction. Despite the wounds and baggages from their previous relationships, both decide to take a chance on each other. Nix believes he can save Pia. While Pia believes that Nix is the kind of man she needs in her life.

It has been years since the two broke up, but fans are still eagerly anticipating whether there’s a chance for the classic 905 pairing from G-Mik to rekindle their romance not just on the big screen but in real life, as well.

Together for the first time in leading roles for a film that is built up around their pairing, Carlo and Angelica teams up as two people that you would be willing to root for. The film will take you to a realistic ride through the ups and downs of a relationship trying to move forward as the past weighs them down. Will Nix and Pia get over their respective baggage in life? Will fate keep them together or tear them apart? Check out what fate has in store for them in Exes Baggage.

Exes Baggage opens in cinemas in the Philippines starting Sept. 26.
