Filmmakers competing in the highly anticipated 2025 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival were officially introduced during a press presentation held at the Artson Events Place in Quezon City. Riding on the success of last year’s event, this year’s festival promises to be another standout in the Philippine film industry calendar.
One of the festival’s major draws is the substantial production grants awarded to filmmakers. For 2025, Puregold CinePanalo provided ₱3,000,000 each to eight winning filmmakers and ₱150,000 each to 24 student filmmakers, fueling creativity and innovation under the theme “Mga Kwentong Panalo ng Buhay.”
The press event featured festival organizers and representatives from key partners, including the MTRCB, Gateway Cineplex 18, Mowelfund, Terminal Six, CMB Films, and MFP Rentals.
Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Senior Marketing Manager for Puregold, expressed excitement over this year’s lineup of talents. “After a highly competitive selection process, we’re proud to introduce this fresh batch of filmmakers. We’re confident they’ll deliver extraordinary, compelling stories that audiences will love,” she said.
